A Theoritical Evaluation Of Digitalization In Education

Abstract

In the light of developments in the field of information technologies in recent years, it can be stated that computer-based applications will dominate most of our daily lives. Especially thanks to the digital applications that have entered our routine lives, social media, online banking applications, remote appointments, etc. systems have taken over us. Accordingly, one of the new concepts that entered our lives is digitalization and online applications abbreviated as "e-". The main purpose of this research is to examine the digital transformation in education in the context of Turkey. At the end of the research, which was carried out as a literature review, it was understood that the Turkish public administration has achieved a competitive advantage especially with the "e-government" move and continues most of its public services in digital environments with its strong infrastructure. On the other hand, it has been understood that digital tools are integrated into learning environments in line with the needs of individuals in education.
