This archive includes the data used for the manuscript "The role of atmospheric transport for El Nino Southern Oscillation teleconnections" submitted to Geophysical Research Letter. All data is available as monthly means. "anomaly"-files include the anomalies between the tagged and untagged air as discussed in the manuscript (see Methods), for specific humidity (hum), potential temperature (theta) and total energy (energy). The mass fraction of the tagged to all the particles is included in mass_frac. The temporal change in total energy (ediv) is available both as 2d and 3d (vertical) for both tagged and untagged particles. Temporal change in height (dz) and potential temperature (dtheta) is included for the tagged air. The data for the Sensitivity study on the selection of timelength is available in the timelength. The data is included for following seasons: DJF (December-January-February), MAM (March-April-May), JJA (June-July-August), SON (September-October-November).
