Genus Platybrotica Cabrera & Walsh, 2004 Platybrotica Cabrera & Walsh, 2004: 7 (type species Platybrotica misionensis Cabrera & Walsh, 2004, by original designation). Remarks This genus contains a single species, P. misionensis. Externally, it is very similar to Diabrotica, except the male antennae are enlarged and modified. The species occurs in Argentina.
