Arizona (U.S.A.). COMMENT: Subgenus Ictidomys; see Hall, 1981:395. Gromov et al., 1965:153, considered Ictidomys a distinct genus. Reviewed by Streubel and Fitzgerald, 1978, Mamm. Species, 101:1-4.
