. In order to compare the amount of energy resources from different fuels in the world, it is assumed that 7000 kcal of heat is released when 1 kg of fuel is burned. The potential reserves of all fuel resources in the world (except for nuclear energy) are 25,000 billion. t is equal to conventional fuel. 95% of it corresponds to solid types of fuel. The reserves of uranium and thorium, which are the main source of nuclear energy, together with the reserves in the waters of the world ocean, are equal to 69,000 billion tons of conventional fuel. Natural resources of the most used energy (coal, oil, gas) are unevenly distributed among the countries of the world. Considering the energy resources of Uzbekistan, the country's energy sector is the main sector of the national economy.
