D1.3 Report on statistical data SPOT

Abstract

Work Package 1 is mainly concerned with documenting the case study areas of the 15 SPOT partners by developing quantitative and qualitative indicators at national, regional and local levels which are appropriate for understanding the role of cultural tourism. This is a report on statistical data collected within the scope of the SPOT project. The purpose of this deliverable is to provide the results of the collected data, and provide an analysis and discussion comparing the results of the fifteen participating case studies. The aim is to find out more about the similarities and differences that exist among the case studies for a number of topics ranging from geography to tourism. This report was generated from the international research project Social and innovative Platform On cultural Tourism and its potential towards deepening Europeanisation (SPOT, www.SPOTprojectH2020.eu) funded by the European Commission under the H2020 Program (Grant Agreement #870644).
