Abstract

This dataset contains detailed information regarding 19th century Ottoman populated places. The dataset was created by the ERC-funded UrbanOccupationsOETR Project and the POPGEO_BG project at Koç University. UrbanOccupationsOETR - Industrialisation and Urban Growth from the mid-nineteenth century Ottoman Empire to Contemporary Turkey in a Comparative Perspective, 1850-2000 (679097) POPGEO_BG - Population Geography of Bulgaria, 1500- 1920: A Historical Spatial Analysis (867474)
