Klimawandel unterrichten: Wissen, Einstellungen und Herausforderungen angehender Primarlehrpersonen

Abstract

Klimawandel zu unterrichten nimmt noch keinen festen Bestandteil im Unterricht der Volksschule ein, trotz gesellschaftlicher Relevanz der Thematik und des Interessens der Schüler:innen. Der Komplexität der Thematik innerhalb eines kontrovers diskutierten politischen und kulturellen Kontextes zu begegnen, nehmen (angehende) Lehrpersonen als grosse Herausforderung war. Wie Anforderungen unter Einfluss verschiedener Faktoren wahrgenommen werden, ist für die Professionalisierung von (zukünftigen) Lehrpersonen von Bedeutung. Inwiefern dies auch die Bereitschaft Klimawandel zu unterrichten zutrifft, wird im Rahmen dieser Studie untersucht. Basierend auf dem wahrnehmungsgestützten, stress- und ressourcentheoretisch fundierten Professionalisierungsansatz von Keller-Schneider (2020) wird multi-methodisch untersucht, inwiefern spezifische Komponenten der individuellen und kontextuellen Ressourcen für die Absicht angehender Primarlehrpersonen von Bedeutung sind, den Lerngegenstand Klimawandel zu unterrichten. Folgende Fragen werden untersucht: 1) Welches Vorwissen und welche Einstellungen (individuelle Ressourcen) weisen die Studierenden zu Beginn der Lehrveranstaltung auf und welche Typen lassen sich herausarbeiten? (Datengrundlage: Fragebogen, Präerhebung) 2) Welche Anforderungen werden von den Studierenden als Herausforderung wahrgenommen, inwiefern sind Kontextfaktoren und soziale Ressourcen in der Auseinandersetzung mit der Thematik von Bedeutung? (Datengrundlage: Interview). Das Poster gibt einen Einblick in das Forschungsprojekt und skizziert theoretische Grundlagen, das Design der Studie sowie die verwendeten Instrumente und die Analyseschritte.
