Abstract

The present report aims to identify the drivers and barriers of citizen engagement in open science and the role university libraries play. Researchers and teaching staff, librarians, and university students from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania were interviewed during three distinct roundtables in 2022. As a result, five general recommendations based on the interviews and literature on how to increase the link between academic libraries and citizen involvement in open science are released. This is a PR1 deliverable.
