Apego y trastorno de la conducta en adolescentes institucionalizados y escolarizados

Abstract

El presente artículo tuvo como objetivo estudiar la relación entre el tipo de apego y el Trastorno de Conducta (TC) en adolescentes mexicanos. Se utilizó una muestra constituida por 319 adolescentes de ambos sexos (52.4 % mujeres), con una edad media 13.88 (DE=1.93), de los cuales 20 (6.3%) vivían en una casa hogar en Morelia, Michoacán y resto de adolescentes 299 (93.7%) eran escolarizados no institucionalizados. Se administraron los siguientes instrumentos; el CaMir-R para evaluar el tipo de apego y el Cuestionario para la Detección del Trastorno de Conducta (CDTC) para la evaluación del TC. En los resultados destaca que de los 40 adolescentes con posible TC, 28 (70%) presentaron distintos tipos de apego inseguro predominando el apego desorganizado. Mientras que de los 279 adolescentes que no presentaron TC, 176 (63.1%) contaron con apego seguro. Asimismo, destaca que en las subescalas Seguridad, Preocupación familiar y Autoriada de los padres del CaMir-R, el grupo de adolescentes sin TC obtuvieron una puntuacón media significativamente superior a la mostrada por el grupo con probable TC, y fue inferior en la subescala Trauma. Se puede concluir que los hallazgos sugieren una relación significativa entre el estilo de apego y el comportamiento de los adolescentes.
