Abstract

This deliverable details the workshop methodology used as part of the X-ROTOR project. It provides a summary of the feedback received from both Group 1 and Group 2, as well as recommendations for the development of the XROTOR concept. The principal finding of this year’s workshops is that there are very different emphases from Group 1 (the host communities) and Group 2 (the wind energy community) regarding the features of a wind turbine which are considered important. Group 2 focuses on the energy output while Group 1 focuses on the local and environmental impact while supporting the idea of offshore energy.
