Dhanaji Jadhav is generally known as the fighter of the Maratha freedom war. It is widely believed that Santaji and Dhanaji made the Marathas successful in their fight against the Mughals. Therefore, especially Dhanaji Jadhav started only after the killing of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raja. It is felt that the opinion was formed that he performed the feat only during the Mughal-Maratha conflict, but this is not a fact, this research essay is presented with the aim of informing the students, academics and all the general public that he had performed important feats even during the period of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Sambhaji Maharaj and that the contribution of Dhanaji in the construction of the Maratha state was also great.
