Abstract

Lista elaborada em 2017 como resultado de pesquisa aprovada pelo Edital Universal de 2016 (CNPQ ) que teve por objetivo esclarecer dúvidas referentes à documentação de 206 objetos do povo indígena Aparai, coletados e depositados no Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi (MPEG) por Curt Nimuendajú e Otto Schulz- Kampfhenkel. A fundamentação teórica se baseou nos conceitos de documento e informação e nas premissas de reconhecidos autores dos campos da Museologia, Ciência da Informação, História, entre outros. A metodologia utilizada incluiu pesquisa documental, com viés histórico, para cotejar as trajetórias dos dois alemães na Amazônia e verificar se os dois pesquisadores participaram juntos de expedições às margens dos rios Jari e Paru, e se conjuntamente depositaram ou não objetos etnográficos no MPEG. Os resultados indicam que os referidos objetos aparai foram depositados no Museu, em 1915 por Curt Nimuendajú e entre 1935-1937 por Otto Schulz-Kampfhenkel.
