The Short-Baseline Near Detector (SBND) is a 4m x 4m x 5m liquid-argon time projection chamber (LArTPC) located in the Booster Neutrino Beam (BNB) at a 110m baseline at Fermilab. Being close to the neutrino source, SBND is expected to collect a large data sample to study short-baseline neutrino oscillation anomalies including the MiniBooNE low-energy excess (LEE). One of the interpretations of LEE is the larger than expected production rate of single photons in beam neutrino interactions. Following the recent single photon search in MicroBooNE, a LArTPC also located in the BNB at a 470m baseline, event selection tools is transferable to SBND due to the similarity between detectors. This poster will describe the development of event selection tools targeting single photon final states in SBND.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
