The SuperNova Early Warning System is undergoing an upgrade (SNEWS2.0), with the goal of maximising the physics potential from the multi-messenger data of the next explosion. In particular, SNEWS2.0 aims to use the neutrino time-series observed by different experiments for triangulation as well as other physics analyses. The snewpdag software is being developed to process the data as it arrives from the experiments and perform calculations which are potentially relevant for follow-up observation, such as the supernova direction, an estimate of its distance, and the search for features indicating secondary bursts or the formation of a black hole. Moreover, snewpdag can also be used as a tool for mock data generation within SNEWS2.0, such as during the first pointing firedrills. Results of the triangulation and distance estimate algorithms, as well as the first generated SNEWS mock data, will be presented.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
