The LEGEND collaboration is pursuing the search for 0νββ decay in 76Ge with a tonne-scale experimental setup. Operating virtually background free (goal 0.6cts/(FWHM⋅t⋅yr)) and with exceptional energy resolution on the per-mille level LEGEND will be able to push discovery sensitivity to unprecedented levels. A first 200kg stage is being completed at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) in Italy hosted in the existing infrastructure of the GERDA experiment. In addition to the GERDA ones, detectors formerly operated in the MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR (MJD) were shipped to LNGS and a new detector production campaign to complete the array started in 2019. Radio-pure and low-noise solutions for front-end electronics and structural components, based on MJD and GERDA technology were developed and installed. The Liquid Argon (LAr) veto system, a solution utilizing light-guiding fibers coupled to SiPMs, which proved successful in GERDA, is further improved and complemented with an outer wavelength shifting reflector. Also, the LAr quality is now constantly monitored using a newly installed system inside the cryostat. This poster gives an overview of the LEGEND-200 installation status and expectations in terms of background and sensitivity projections for LEGEND-200 and the second stage LEGEND-1000.
