The report is the assessment of a subproject of a project aiming at establishing the Congress Dialectics of Liberation Digital Archive. The subproject deals with audio files generated at the congress. It aims at giving first insights into the role audio files could play in generating the archive. It further examines possibilities to prepare the files in such a way as to make them usefully accessible for further research. The object of this report is to document the subproject’s genesis and progress. It presents first research outcomes and to date unpublished information on the congress. It generates findings and observations culminating in research-based recommendations to inform future planning and decision-making regarding the digital archive. A follow-up paper will be published in 2022.
