KM3NeT is a research infrastructure that will house a network of next-generation neutrino detectors located in the seabed of the Mediterranean Sea. The infrastructure is currently under construction and consists in two configurations: atmospheric neutrino oscillation research at GeV energies (ORCA) and detecting high-energy cosmic neutrinos from Galactic and extra-Galactic sources (ARCA). The selection of a high-purity neutrino sample taken with the first 6 Detection Units deployed in the ORCA detector has been analysed in search for invisible neutrino decay signal. A three flavour neutrino oscillation scenario where the third neutrino mass state, ν3, decays into a sterile neutrino is considered. The bound found in the decay parameter, α3 = m3/τ3 , will be presented in this contribution alongside with future sensitivity perspectives with the full ORCA configuration of 115 detection units.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
