Knowledge and skills gaps have been identified as key barriers to crop diversification. Higher education, professional training and all AKIS actors have a key role to address these gaps. This report aims at: identifying needs to be addressed to accompany crop diversification, developing associated skills and knowledge that should be mastered to fill in gaps, listing examples of resources from DiverIMPACTS activities and formulating some recommendations to adapt the strategy of formal education and professional training development.
