RESUMO Apresente dissertação propõe a leitura do gesto de insistir como método de produção dentro das artes. Com objetivo de traçar evidências que demonstram diferentes modos e procedimentos do gesto de insistir, foi feita leitura de obras e gestos de Anna Maria Maiolino, Eva Hesse e da autora. A leitura das obras temcomo suporte os conceitos: vestígio, índice, repetição e insistência, os quais as colocam em diálogo com questões da história da arte -da vanguarda aos tempos atuais. Todo o texto traz a leitura e elaboração conceitual na primeira pessoa, evidenciando a experiência de experimentar e elaborar o pensamento sobre o gesto, ação que compõe a insistência, essa que volta a si mesma. ABSTRACTThis dissertation proposes the reading of the gesture of insisting as a production method within the arts. With the aim of tracing evidence that demonstrates different modes and procedures of the gesture of insisting, works and gestures by Anna Maria Maiolino, Eva Hesse and the author were read. The reading of the works is supported by the concepts: vestige, index, repetition and insistence, which put them in dialogue with questions from the history of art -from the vanguard to current times. The entire text brings the reading and conceptual elaboration in the first person, evidencingthe experience of experimenting and elaborating the thought about the gesture, an action that makes up the insistence, which comes back to itself.
