His research focuses on semiotics, diagrammatic logic, French phenomenology and post-structuralism, and the work of Francois Laruelle. He is Professor of Philosophy at Endicott College, USA and Distinguished Research Fellow with GCAS College Dublin, Ireland. *** Mafalda Blanc is Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, since 1980. She holds an MA from the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities in Lisbon, with a thesis on Heidegger. She holds a PhD from the University of Lisbon, with a thesis on Malebranche. Main areas of research: Metaphysics, Hermeneutics, Philosophy of Language, the philosophy of Heidegger.
