Erythrodes chinensis (Rolfe) Schltr., Orchideen Beschreib. Kult. Zücht.: 117, 1914 Basionym: Physurus chinensis Rolfe, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1896: 200, 1896. Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: 455−610 m, 23 Apr 1926, Kingdon-Ward 6643 (K). Distribution:— Northern Myanmar, southwestern and southern China and Taiwan. Note:— In Flora of China, this entity was considered conspecific with E. blumei (Lindl.) Schltr. because variation among the two in spur length and epichile shape were apparently continuous (Chen et al. 2009: 56−57). Further study to confirm this is needed.
