The objective of this essay is to discuss the importance of supervised training for teacher training, through an experience report in an indigenous school in Roraima. The methodology used was a bibliographic survey, observation and administration of the discipline of Geography. The results demonstrate that the head teacher passes on knowledge to the students, despite the difficulties faced in everyday school life, especially in indigenous education. The practice of the internship is of great importance for the future teacher, because it is at this moment that the knowledge acquired during the course is highlighted, as well as the internship experiences in different contexts of Basic Education.
