Code and Data: Optimization of Snow-Related Parameters in Noah Land Surface Model (v3.4.1) Using Micro-Genetic Algorithm (v1.7a)

The Noah Land Surface Model (Noah LSM) with version 3.4.1 was developed on 18 September 2012. The current version of the off-line Noah LSM is available from the website: https://ral.ucar.edu/solutions/products/unified-noah-lsm. The genetic algorithm (GA) was developed by David L. Carroll and was last updated on 2 April 2001. The exact version we used is version 1.7a and archives here. The current version 1.7.1b of the GA with minor comment updates on 2 December 2020 is available from the website: https://cuaerospace.com/products-services/genetic-algorithm/ga-drive-free-download. The forcing data and output files of Noah LSM and micro-GA-Noah LSM coupled system and the scripts to plot the same figures as the manuscript are also included.
