A Critical Analysis of the Development of Research in Education in India

Abstract

Abstract This paper deals with the development of research especially research in Education, its progress, trends, quality concerns and Government measures to improve quality. It also highlights the role of various stake holders, UGC, NCTE and Universities. Reports and recommendations of various commissions especially NPE 2020 towards research and development has also been discussed in this paper.
