Pipizella bispina Šimić, 1987 Little is known about P. bispina. It is considered as a rare mountain species. Isolated records are known from Austria (Carinthia; van Steenis & Lucas 2011), Poland, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia and Switzerland (Trzcinski, 2011). Further records are reported from Belgium and the French Alps (Ssymank & Lair 2015; Speight 2020).
