(2012: 172); duplicate in BM excluded] Etymology: Named after the type collector Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker (1817–1911), a British botanist and explorer, who served as the second director of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, succeeding his father, William Jackson Hooker. Distribution: Nepal (type) and China (Yunnan: D.G. Long 33796 (E!) [sample used for analysis in Ho et al. 2012)]. Sikkim is excluded, see label of the type (Fig. 1) and discussion in Ho et al. (2012: 172)
