Abstract

This upload contains stereotactic EEG data (.mat format) and MATLAB code to generate figures and reproduce analyses reported in the manuscript "Human hippocampal responses to network stimulation vary with theta phase", currently available as a bioRxiv preprint (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.02.28.482345v1). Run stimerps_byphase.m to perform data preprocessing and all main analyses. Setup: Before running, create a new directory subject_data_final on the same level as the other files. Add all .mat files (alldata_analysissample.mat and subj1.mat through subj8.mat) to this new directory. Unzip the compressed CircStat2012a directory. Dependencies: This code was developed in MATLAB r2018b. It requires the MATLAB Signal Processing, Statistics and Machine Learning, and Curve Fitting toolboxes. The following external packages are dependencies and are included in this repository: Circular Statistics Toolbox (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/10676-circular-statistics-toolbox-directional-statistics) tight_subplot (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/27991-tight_subplot-nh-nw-gap-marg_h-marg_w)
