South African National Survey of Arachnida Photo Identification Guide: The Hahniidae of South Africa.Version 2: 1-14 (2022)

The family Hahniidae is a small family known from 23 genera. Only one genus Hahnia C.L. Koch, 1841 is known from South Africa represented by eight species of which seven are endemic to South Africa. Only one species Hahnia schubotzi Strand, 1913 was not previously listed from South Africa The African fauna was last revised by Bosmans (1981). Six of the species are listed as Least Concern and two species are data deficient.
