Veleropilina sp. unidentified Monoplacophora Levin & Lonsdale 1983: 1017. Veleropilina sp. Warén & Gofas 1996: 222, figs 1D, 8A, B, 9E, F, 10A–C, 15A. The species is here included in the list of species from below 2000 m, because the record of the single specimen: off the southern point of Baja California (20°48.5'N, 109°17.4'W), 1950 m depth at a submarine volcano, was close enough to 2000 m that it is likely that it also occurs somewhat deeper.
