Alborz (Kheradmand et al. 2002, 2005), Ardabil (Modarres Awal 1987; Linnavuori 2007), East Azarbaijan (Modarres Awal 1997a; Sadaghian et al. 2004; Khaghaninia et al. 2010a, b, 2011; Nikdel et al. 2011), Fars, Kerman (Brown 1966; Linnavuori 2011), Golestan (Wagner 1968; Heiss 2002; Ghahari et al. 2011), Guilan (Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan (Kiritshenko 1966), Isfahan (Hatami 1992), Kermanshah (Samin et al. 2011, as Lygaeus equestris ssp. equestris), Khorasan (Hoberlandt 1954; Modarres Awal 1996b), Lorestan (Linnavuori 2011), Mazandaran (Wagner 1968; Heiss 2002), Semnan (Jakovlev 1877; Hoberlandt 1954), Sistan & Baluchestan (Kiritshenko 1966), Tehran (Brown 1966), Northern Iran (no locality cited) (Lindberg 1938), Iran (no locality cited) (Yarmand et al. 2002).
