39. Stigmella samiatella (Zeller, 1939) (new to the Crimea) (Fig. 107) Host-plants. Unknown in the Crimea; probably Quercus pubescens Willd. and other Quercus species as in other regions. Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Submediterranean; the species occurs from Spain and Ireland to Finland, central European Russia, Greece, Turkey, and the Caucasus (Georgia). Material examined. CRIMEA: 1♂, 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, 01.viii.2011, at light, leg. J. R. Stonis, A. Navickaitė & G. Varačinskas, genitalia slide no. AN 520♂; 1♂, the same locality, at light, 24.viii.2011, leg. J. R. Stonis & S. Hill. Remarks. The species is rare in the Crimea: limited in distribution and not abundant (no leaf-mines collected, at light only).
