Coryphaenidae Coryphaena hippurus Linnaeus, 1758 —Common dolphinfish STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on WAM material (WAM P.30617-002). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Worldwide in tropical and warm temperate seas, in western Pacific north to southern Japan, south to northern New Zealand. Oceanic, pelagic, near the surface, 0– 100 m. Marine.
