Fagaceae: Quercus acutissima Carr., Q. mongolica Turcz., Q. serrata Thunb. Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 3) with wingspan 12.0−16.0 mm. This species resembles E. subtegulifera (Ponomarenko, 1994) in appearance, and the differences between them are stated under the latter species. Encolapta tegulifera can be easily separated from other known Encolapta species by the apically pointed valva in the male genitalia (Fig. 18), and the lateral band joined at middle of anterior margin and the ostium bursae with lateral carinae in the female genitalia (Fig. 19). Distribution. China (Gansu, Guizhou, Henan, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Zhejiang), Japan, Korea, Russian Far East.
