Abstract

Rhopobota floccosa Zhang, Li & Wang, 2005 Fig. 5 Rhopobota floccosa Zhang, Li & Wang, 2005, Entomologica Fennica, 16: 278. The adult and male genitalia were described and illustrated in Zhang, Li, & Wang (2005). The female genitalia (Fig. 5) are as follows: Papilla anales relatively broad and long, setose; apophyses posteriores as long as apophyses anteriores. Sternite VII broadly sclerotized, helmet-shaped, deeply concave on middle of posterior margin; a Ushaped ridge on sternite VII with a portion of sternite VII posterior to this ridge invaginated under ridge; a long separate sclerite at anterior margin of sternite VII. Ostium round, near lamella antevaginalis; lamella antevaginalis represented by a narrow band, fused with lamella postvaginalis; lamella postvaginalis produced into two triangular projections posteriorly. Ductus bursae broad and short, sclerotized, except membranous near intersection with corpus bursae. Corpus bursae pyriform, with a large inverted V-shaped sclerite extending from entrance of corpus bursae to about 1/3 length along both sides; two signa, curved, spine-like, with rounded base. Specimens examined. Holotype ♂: CHINA: Hunan Province, Sangzhi County (29.23°N, 110.11°E), 1250 m, 12.viii.2001 (Houhun Li & Xinpu Wang), slide no. ZAH03430. Paratype: 1♂, same data as holotype, except 13.viii.2001. Additional material: 10♂, 5♀, Zhejiang Province: Mt. Tianmu, Xianrending, 1500 m, 26.vii.2011, L. Yang & N. Chen, genitalia slide no. ZAH14046. Distribution. This species is known from Zhejiang and Hunan, China. Note. The female genitalia of R. floccosa are reported for the first time.
