Life cycle: IH1 Heleobia hatcheri (Pilsbry, 1911); IH2 Galaxias maculatus. Localities: Limay River, Río Negro Province (type locality); Araucarian Region of the Andean Patagonia (see list of lakes and rivers in Ostrowski de Núñez et al., 1999). Site of infection: Intestine.
