Peiyu Yu (IZ-CAS); 3 males, 3 females, Baihe County, ecology station, 760 m, mixed coniferous and broadleaved forest; pitfall traps, 5.VI.2004, coll. Jie Wu (IZ-CAS); Measurements. Body length: 13.5–16.8 mm. CL: 0.64; EL: 2.38; ELS: 1.05; EW: 2.83; HL: 2.58; HW: 2.35; PO: 0.79; PL: 2.78; PW: 2.81. Distribution. Before this study Ocypus inexspectatus was recorded only from the Russian Far East. This is the first time that this species is recorded from northeastern China (in Jilin Province).
