Barydesmus andinus (Cook, 1896) new combination Cyphorrhacus andinus Cook, 1896a: 52 (original description). Types: Type from Ecuador, without further locality. Originally at the U. S. National Museum, we could not confirm if it is still available; it does not appear in the NMNH database (D. DeRoche, pers. comm.). Distribution: Ecuador.
