Cacopsylla alaspina (Kandasamy, 1986), comb. nov. Distribution. India: Tamil Nadu (Kandasamy 1986, as Psylla alaspina). Host plant. Adults were collected on Toddalia asiatica (Rutaceae), immatures are required to confirm this species as host. Comments. Originally described in Psylla, this species is not congeneric with Psylla alni (Linnaeus, 1758), the type species of Psylla. For this reason, it is formally transferred here to Cacopsylla Ossiannilsson, 1970 as C. alaspina (Kandasamy, 1986), comb. nov. from Psylla.
