Synalpheus antillensis Coutière, 1909 Synalpheus minus form antillensis Coutière, 1909: 46, fig. 27. Material examined. Brazil, São Paulo: 1 ♀ ov, CCDB 4854, Ubatuba, Ilha Vitória, coll. F. Mantelatto et al., 20.x.2012. Distribution. Western Atlantic—Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea (Yucatán Peninsula to Venezuela), Brazil (Atol das Rocas, Trindade Island, Ceará, Alagoas, Bahia to São Paulo) (Coutière 1909; Chace 1956; Anker et al. 2012; 2016). Previous records. São Sebastião (Anker et al. 2012). Remarks. According to Anker et al. (2012), the material recorded in Brazil as S. minus (Say, 1818) by Christoffersen (1979) might also include S. antillensis. GenBank accession number: CCDB 4854—16S (KU312987).
