Paratypes (Fig. 30): ICN-MHN 18326 (4, 70.0– 91.1 mm SL), Colombia, Santander, Floridablanca, Quebrada Los Palmitos, tributary of Quebrada La Ruitoca, upper Lebrija River drainage, 925 m asl.; C. Ardila-Rodríguez, 28 Dec 1995. Astroblepus mojicai Ardila-Rodríguez, 2015: 128, fig 3b. Holotype (Fig. 31): ICN-MHN 19162 [ex CAR 670] (64.6 mm SL), Colombia, Nariño, Barbacoas, Peje River, tributary of Ñambí, tributary of River Telembí; J. I. Mojica, 8 Dec 2004. Paratypes: ICN-MHN 17469 (11, 26.1–58.3 mm. SL), collected with the holotype.
