Type material examined. Holotype (Fig. 80): ♂, [China, Fujian] Kuatun, 2300 m (Fukien), 27,40 N Lat / 117,40 E Long, 13.VIII.1938, H. Höne [leg.] / Holotypus Miltochrista kuatuni Daniel., slide AV1858 ♂ Volynkin (Coll. ZFMK). Paratype (Fig. 186): ♂, [China, Fujian] Kuatun, prov. Fukien, 4.VIII. [19]38, [leg.] Höne / Re-Paratype Miltochr. kuatunensis Dan., slide AV1863 ♂ Volynkin (Coll. ZFMK). Other material examined. CHINA: 1 ♂, [China, Fujian] Kuatun (2300 m), 4.VIII. [19]46, leg. Höne (Coll. ZFMK); 1 ♂, same locality and collector, but 2.IX. [19]46 (Coll. ZFMK); 1 ♂, [China, Fujian] Kuatun, prov. Fukien, 30.VII. [19]38, [leg.] Höne (Coll. ZFMK); 1 ♂, [Fujian] Lingping, South China, VII.1922, H. Höne [leg.] (Coll. ZFMK); 1 ♂, [China, Fujian] Kuatun, prov. Fukien, 05.IX.1938, leg. Höne (Coll. MWM/ ZSM); 1 ♂, 1 ♀, China, Guangdong, Shaoguan, Nanling [Mts.], 900–1400 m, 27–31.VII.2008, Y. Kishida, M. Wang [leg.], slides AV2541 ♂, AV2542 ♀ Volynkin (Coll. SZMN); 1 ♂, same locality and collector, but 1000–1400 m, 9–15.VII.2010, prep. in sugar by Dubatolov (Coll. SZMN); 1 ♂, [Sichuan] 25.31. Mt. Omei, W. China, 3000–4000 ft., 13.VII. [19]31, G.M. Franck [leg.], slide AV4825 ♂ Volynkin (Coll. NHMUK); VIETNAM: 2 ♀, [N Vietnam] Tonkin, Hanoi, leg. Franz Daniel (Coll. MWM/ ZSM); 1 ♂, [N] Vietnam, Tam Dao, 25.IX. [19]78, A. Helia leg., slide AV4627 ♂ Volynkin (Coll. CKC). Diagnosis. Forewing length is 10.5–11 mm in males and 12–12.5 mm in females. Barsine kuatunensis is externally very similar to the allopatric B. takamukui and can be differed from it by the genitalia structure only. The male genitalia of B. kuatunensis differ from those of B. takamukui by the valva being broader distally, the basally broader medial costal process, the slightly larger ventral diverticulum, and the presence of a medial row of small cornuti in vesica. The female genitalia of B. kuatunensis differ from those of B. takamukui by their slightly larger corpus bursae having signum (that is absent in B. takamukui), and smaller appendix bursae. Distribution. South China (Sichuan, Fujian, Guangdong) (Fang 2000; Kishida 2011) and North Vietnam.
