The grammatical types are classified as five, the grammar may not have been formally compiled as five before the Chola period. Veerachozhiya, who appeared in the 11th century AD, was the first to form the structure of the Ainthilakkanam. This article examines the Veerachozhiya, the first ainthiakkana book written at the same time, and examines whether there has been any change in the traditional elements of the Yaparungalam and the Yaparungalak Karikai, which were previously written for Prosodies.
