The purpose of this study was to analyze public interest in the sports training education study program at Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research method used is a survey/questionnaire method. The research location is in the city of Bekasi. The population in this study were all administrators and athletes from 4 sports in Bekasi City, namely the sports Muaythai, Wushu, IBA MMA and Sambo as many as 150 people. The sample was selected through random sampling technique obtained by 130 people. The variable in this study is public interest. The technique of collecting data is by spreading instrument data in the form of an opioner with a Likert scale of 5-4-3-2-1. The data analysis technique used is data processing, data presentation and hypothesis testing using a simple descriptive formula. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that 74% of respondents believe that interest is one of the main factors in choosing a sports coaching education study program at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya. With this research, it is hoped that solutions to the problems that have been raised in the background can be found and become a basic reference for study programs to improve themselves in order to foster public interest in the study program of sports coaching education.
