The first student conference on biological sciences (SCBS 2021), is organized on December 17-18, 2021 by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, Albania. The conference aim was to provide an opportunity for students and young aspiring scientists to present their work, broaden their knowledge, and experience scientific conferences and discussions. Various scientific activities that help students consolidate the direction of their professional path, and foster networking and exchange among them and alumni young researchers took place before and during the conference days. The conference was attended during the sessions by over 150 participants from different backgrounds and countries.
