Occurrence and conservation status: Nat, DD. References: Bussing (1987: 91, as Roeboides guatemalensis, in part—missidentification; 1998: 117, as Roeboides sp.; brief mention, including information on distribution, with a map); Matamoros et al. (2013: 286; detailed description, including illustrations and an identification key, information on distribution, with a map, and ecology) and Angulo et al.
