This is the final report of the project "Vertical and Lateral Aspects of Chinese Dialect History" which was funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2015 until 2016 (Project Number: 261553824). The report contains a summary in German of the research that has been done during this time, and a list of publications which were produced as a result of the project.
