Workshop: The role and best practices of data stewardship

Abstract

The workshop took place on 12 November 2021 as part of the data stewardship programme of the University of Basel and provided an introduction to data stewardship and the organisational forms, roles, tasks and challenges of data stewards in different academic disciplines. It included an input presentation, lectures by four international speakers working as data stewards in medicine, engineering, social sciences and humanities, as well as plenary and group discussions.
