Lyctus suturalis Faldermann, 1837. (Fig. 9G) Distribution in mainland China: GS (Liu 2010). Other distribution. Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, Iran (Liu & Geis 2019). Biology. Types and paratypes of the synonym, L. turkestanicus Fursov nec Lesne, were captured from Morus nigra (Moraceae), and of the synonym, L. shestakovi Fursov under the bark of oak (Quercus sp.) (Fagaceae) (Liu & Geis 2019). The species has also been collected from Quercus spp. (Fagaceae), Juglans regia L. (Juglandaceae) and Tilia cordata Mill. (Malvaceae) (Liu & Geis 2019).
