Based on the collected statistics, an initial version of the database was created. This dataset contains metrics and indicators for a set of publications that are related to the Circular Economy. Data from both Lithuania and other European Union countries were collected from other databases (Eurostat, World Bank, OECD, European Environment Agency (EEA)), which are grouped in the database into the following groups of indicators: technology and innovation (business expenditure on research and experimental development, high-tech imports, patents, value-added in the high-tech sector), energy production and consumption (oil prices, renewable energy sources), environmental protection (greenhouse gas emissions, global temperature anomalies), waste generation and management (all waste, recyclable waste, packaging recycling), use of secondary raw materials in production, import and export of recyclable secondary raw materials), competitiveness of the circular economy (value added, investment, workers in circular economy sectors), general macroeconomic indicators (gross domestic product, intermediate, final consumption, labor force, hours worked, wages, household income), etc. The database also contains auxiliary data used in the calculations (GDP deflator, exchange rate), etc. Information from the subscribed database must be used only for scientific, study or educational purposes. Information can be copied (transferred to a computer, printed and etc.) only in small amounts. It is strictly prohibited to copy information completely, to transfer data to third parties, upload to Internet or use for commercial purposes.
